# Communications TM Forum API

The Spring \`26 release introduces TMF API extensibility and direct access to Industry APIs. Customers can customize TMF APIs using Apex lifecycle hooks and GraphQL queries while maintaining TMF compliance. Inbound Industry APIs can now also be invoked directly through Connect/Apex REST endpoints without routing through the MuleSoft gateway.

Note Starting **Winter ’27**, only **Direct Access** will be supported, and the MuleSoft gateway option will be deprecated.
