26.4 Release

The B2C Commerce 26.4 release occurs between March 24 and April 23, 2026.

  • Capture Customer and Order Search Queries in Security Logs
Capture information about user-initiated search queries from Business Manager or via APIs for customer and order data. The log lists the user name, search parameters, and timestamp.
  • Find Products by Using the Product Name
Search for items in your product list without having to remember product IDs. In addition to the product ID, you can now enter product names in the enhanced search bar in Business Manager. Search supports locale-specific names, so make sure that you have the correct locale selected in Business Manager.
  • Monitor Product Readiness in the Product List View
Quickly check that your products are storefront-ready by viewing their status in the product list. The new Readiness column tracks key attributes, such as image availability, inventory, and pricing, for each product across locales and consolidates them into a single visual indicator. The Readiness badge shows the number of completed attributes for each product. Hover over the badge to see which attributes are present or missing.
  • View Price and Inventory Data in the Product List
Monitor your product stock levels and pricing strategies without leaving the product list. Add the new Price, Per Unit Price, and Available to Sell (ATS) columns to get a comprehensive view of your product data across locales. These columns provide the best price and real-time inventory quantities (OCI or native). For products using perpetual inventory, the ATS column displays Perpetual. The column values are based on your selected locale in Business Manager.
  • Price Attribute Search Returns More Precise Results
Shoppers now get more accurate search results with price filtering. For example, the search process can filter for quantitative ranges, such as “dress under $100.” This feature works with existing keyword search capabilities.
  • Prioritize Exact Matches in Search Results
Deliver more relevant search results by weighting a customer’s search query term higher than the term’s defined synonyms. Previously, search queries treated all terms in a synonym group with equal weight, often causing products that contained the synonym term to outrank products that actually matched the customer’s search query. By boosting the search query term, customers find exactly what they asked for first while still discovering similar, interchangeable products lower in the results.
  • Improve Japanese Product Discoverability with Enhanced Tokenization
Deliver more predictable search results for Japanese storefronts with an improved word-breaking algorithm. The search engine now breaks down Japanese text into tokens, resulting in higher relevancy when customers search for products with complex phrases or compound words.
  • Visually Enhance Your Business Manager with the New Cosmos UI
The new Salesforce Cosmos Design includes interactive circular motifs, improved fonts and icons, inviting cues, and higher contrast colors. You can switch to the new UI or continue to use the earlier UI styles.
  • Use the Enhanced Proxy Zone Framework
To improve security and performance, all deprecated proxy V1 zones are now migrated to the V2 zone configuration. This update enhances reliability for ghost routing and traffic splitting. Manage all custom hostnames under the more efficient V2 framework. If your site still uses legacy zones, migrate them to proxy zones.
  • Control Center Audit Logs Are Now in Log Center
You can no longer access in-app audit logs from Control Center, and the Audit Logs button has been removed. Instead, use the advanced filtering and long-term storage capabilities of Log Center to track configuration changes and user activity. To view your audit data, go to Log Center and filter by the Control Center category.
  • Use Multiple Hostnames and Locales in Hybrid Auth Redirect URIs
You can now configure multiple hostnames and locales for hybrid authentication (Hybrid Auth) redirect URIs. Support Social Login and third-party identity provider logins in SFRA pages by setting redirect URIs that use subdomains, locales, or locale-mapped domains.
  • Simplify Testing with a Default Domain (Generally Available)
Accelerate time to market by using a preconfigured, Salesforce-managed default hostname for testing in development, staging, and production environments. The default domain, which is provisioned when you create a realm, has embedded CDN capabilities, eliminating the need to manually configure DNS settings. To maintain security, development and staging instances require user credentials. Production instances have a Block All firewall rule applied by default. Configure Allow rules to grant access.
  • B2C Commerce API Release Notes for 26.4
Keep track of the new B2C Commerce API features and functionality.
