# View Semantic Models with Restricted Fields or Data Objects

Analysts can view semantic models that contain objects or fields they haven't been granted access to. Restricted data objects or fields are masked or hidden, letting analysts see and test the model as a whole. This unblocks their ability to use the portions of the semantic model they have access to in visualizations and metrics.

**Where:**

This change applies to Data 360 and Tableau Next in **Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions.**
