# Connect and Visualize Data 360 Data with Microsoft Power BI

Access and analyze your Data 360 data directly within Microsoft Power BI Desktop and Gateway with the Power BI Connector for Salesforce Data 360. Execute read-only SQL queries to retrieve data so you can easily build dashboards. This connector eliminates the need for complex workarounds that require external systems.

**Where:** This change applies to Data 360 in Developer, Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions.

**When:** This change is available in March 2026.

**Why:** Previously, connecting Microsoft Power BI to Data 360 often required complex workarounds. The new connector provides a direct, secure, and high-performance connection that streamlines data access.

**How:** Download and install the Power BI Connector for Salesforce Data 360 for Windows. In the ODBC Data Source Name (DSN), configure your connection details, including your Salesforce authentication credentials (Login URL, Salesforce Access Token and Tenant Endpoint). Then, in Microsoft Power BI, use the Get Data feature to select the source and connect to your Data 360 instance.
