# Clarify Activation Field Names with Output Name

Identify the attribute field name in your activation output more easily. The Preferred Name column is now the Output Name column. The field now defaults to the attribute's API name with prefixes and suffixes removed. This makes sure that a value is always present. Override the default with a custom name that’s unique across the entire activation.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Data 360 in Developer, Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions.

**When:** This functionality is available starting in March 2026.
