# Provide Schema-Level Prompts to Guide Extraction in Document AI for Data 360

Achieve higher precision in your Document AI models by providing global instructions that apply to the entire document rather than to specific fields or tables. Set instructions to ignore specific sections or define a primary extraction language, ensuring your models handle complex documents with better context. These global instructions allow you to guide model behavior across the full scope of a document, making it easier to manage multi-language extractions and excluded content.

**Where:** This change applies to Data 360 in the Developer, Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions.

**When:** This change is available starting in February 2026.

**How:** In Document AI, when you manually configure document schema, navigate to the dedicated **Schema** tab to specify your prompt. For example, enter a prompt such as “Ignore the part of the document marked in red” in the **Prompt (Optional)** field. Click **Test** to verify the behavior and select **Save**.
