# Add Context to Chunks with Prepend Fields from Data Model Objects

You can now use prepend fields to add additional metadata that provides context for chunks generated from UDMOs. For example, if your search index configuration includes unstructured data from webcrawler or sitemap connectors, metadata fields such as Labels, Title, or URL can provide additional context to each generated chunk. Prepending these fields improves accuracy of RAG responses in Agentforce. Previously, prepend field chunking was available only for search indexes created from DMOs.

**Where:** This change applies to Data Cloud Developer, Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions.

**When:** This feature is available starting in February 2026.

**How:** In the Search Index Advanced Setup for vector search or hybrid search, select fields to prepend to chunks.
