# Trigger Data 360 Activations Directly from a Flow (Beta)

Create an API activation in Data 360 and trigger it from Flow Builder by using an API call. API activation expands where and how you can initiate activations. You can trigger activations mid-flow, precisely when they’re most impactful, independent of how a flow is triggered. This gives you the flexibility to start activations based on any Salesforce event, independent of a segment publish schedule.

For example, a newly onboarded customer hasn’t claimed their welcome bonus via email. You can now invoke an activation to retarget them on Meta or Google Ads using a single Flow. This real-time response enables more dynamic and effective customer engagement.

Note API Activation is a pilot or beta service that is subject to the Beta Services Terms at [Agreements - Salesforce.com](https://www.salesforce.com/company/legal/agreements/) or a written Unified Pilot Agreement if executed by Customer, and applicable terms in the [Product Terms Directory](https://ptd.salesforce.com/). Use of this pilot or beta service is at the Customer's sole discretion.
