Achieve greater flexibility when calculating taxes for different products across legal entities. Use tax treatment items within a tax treatment to assign specific tax codes to each product, supporting countries that require product-specific tax codes.
Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions of Agentforce Revenue Management, formerly Revenue Cloud, with the Revenue Cloud Advanced or Revenue Cloud Billing license.
Who: To create and use tax treatment items, you need the Billing Admin or the Tax Admin permission set.
How: To calculate taxes based on tax codes assigned to products, from the App Launcher, find and select Tax Treatments. Configure a tax treatment, and select Use Tax Treatment Items. Define related tax treatment items to map products with their corresponding tax codes.
