Configure and apply taxes directly in the Billing app with the standard built-in tax engine for simple tax use cases. Capture multiple tax rates, set tax effective dates, and configure the priority of tax calculation.
Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions of Agentforce Revenue Management, formerly Revenue Cloud, with the Revenue Cloud Advanced or Revenue Cloud Billing license.
Who: To configure a native tax engine, you need the Billing Admin permission set or the Tax Admin permission set.
How: To configure tax rates, from the App Launcher, find and select Tax Rates. Then, configure the required tax rates. To configure taxes by using the standard tax engine, from the App Launcher, find and select Tax Engine. Create and configure a tax engine by using the Revenue Standard Tax Engine type. Then, complete the rest of the tax configuration.
