Create traceable, consistent, and compliant credit memo records by assigning unique sequential numbers to posted credit memos. Manage bookkeeping and maintain legally compliant credit memo numbering.
Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions of Agentforce Revenue Management, formerly Revenue Cloud, with the Revenue Cloud Billing license.
Who: To create sequence policies, you need the Billing Admin permission set.
How: In Setup, find and select Billing Settings.
- To assign sequential numbers to Credit Memo records, configure Gapless Sequential Numbering for Billing.
- To assign a credit memo number to each posted credit memo, turn on Mandate Sequence Policy for Posted Credit Memos.
To create sequence policies, from the App Launcher, find and select Sequence Policies. Then, define sequence patterns and filter criteria based on your needs.
