# Use the Enhanced Proxy Zone Framework

To improve security and performance, all deprecated proxy V1 zones are now migrated to the V2 zone configuration. This update enhances reliability for ghost routing and traffic splitting. Manage all custom hostnames under the more efficient V2 framework. If your site still uses legacy zones, migrate them to proxy zones.

**Where:** This change applies to B2C Commerce.

**When:** The migration of all proxy zones from V1 to V2 was completed on March 3, 2026. Migration from legacy zones to proxy zones is planned for completion by August 15, 2026.
