# Transcribe Spoken Audio with the Convert Base64 Speech To Text action

You can now capture spoken audio from a microphone and convert it to text for hands-free updates, faster data capture, and voice-enabled automation using the Convert Base64 Speech To Text flow action. The action processes Base64-encoded audio content and returns transcription output for use in downstream flow logic.

**Where:** The Convert Base64 Speech To Text action is available in Flow Builder and can be added to autolaunched, record-triggered, and event-triggered flows.

**How:** In Flow Builder, add an Action element to your flow. In the Action field, search for convert base64 speech to text, select the action, and provide the required Base64-encoded audio input.
