# Convert Speech to Text in Flow with the Speech To Text Action

Use the Convert Speech to Text flow action to transcribe audio files and make the resulting text available within a flow. This action converts supported audio files into a transcript that can be referenced by downstream flow elements, such as record updates or decision logic, helping incorporate spoken information into automated processes.

**Where:** The Convert Speech to Text action is available in Flow Builder and can be added to any flow and any topic where actions are supported, including autolaunched flows, record-triggered flows, and event-triggered flows.

**How:** In Flow Builder, add an Action element to your flow. In the Action field, search for Convert Speech to Text, and select the **Convert Speech to Text** action, and provide the Content Document ID.
