# Debug Specific Segments of Flow Approval Processes

Accelerate testing by debugging only a targeted stage or segment of your flow approval process. Define a start point to skip earlier elements, an end point to stop at a specific stage, or both to target a segment. When you set a start point, use the Configure Test Input tab to set input values for steps that rely on outputs from skipped stages or steps. To debug a single stage, set it as both the start point and the end point.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.

**Who:** To debug a flow approval process, you must have the Manage Flow user permission.
