# Create and Manage Salesforce Hosted MCP Servers

Create and manage Salesforce hosted Model Context Proxy (MCP) servers in API Catalog. View a list of standard and custom MCP servers and create custom servers.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Developer, Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions.

**When:** This feature is generally available in April 2026.

**How:** In Setup, in API Catalog MCP Servers, view standard and custom Salesforce servers. Add tools to your custom servers by selecting operations from Salesforce APIs in API Catalog, such as Apex REST and Named Query APIs. Add prompts by using Prompt Builder. Activate the servers to make them available to use in Salesforce.
