# Optimize Your Agents with Agent Platform Tracing

Agent Platform Tracing gives customers deep visibility into the execution and decision-making processes of their agents. By capturing and visualizing the intricate chain of steps, tool usage, and large language model (LLM) calls that lead to an agent's final output, this feature allows customers to effectively diagnose errors, understand unexpected behaviors, and pinpoint performance bottlenecks.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions with Foundations or Agentforce 1 editions.

**When:** This change is available starting from April 6, 2026.

**How:** In Setup, use the Quick Find Box to search for Einstein Generative AI, click Einstein Audit, Analytics, and Monitoring Setup, confirm that Agentforce Session Tracing is turned on, and then turn on Agent Platform Tracing. Then, create and run a Data 360 Report for Service Rep Sessions and Platform Traces.
