# Account Manager 3.6

The B2C Commerce Account Manager 3.6 is available on March 11, 2026.

This release delivers:

- Security fixes
- Bug fixes
- Infrastructure updates

- **[Assign More Administrative Roles to API Clients](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_account_manager_assign_admin_roles.htm&release=260&type=5)**
You can now assign the Account Administrator or API Administrator role to an API client directly from the Account Manager API Client Detail page. This update simplifies API client management, saving time for admins when managing technical users and integrations. Account administrators can manage both roles. API administrators can only manage the API Administrator role.
- **[Identify Shared API Clients with Indicators and Warnings](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_account_manager_identify_shared_api_clients.htm&release=260&type=5)**
Understand how API client changes affect other organizations that use the same API client. When editing a shared client configuration, indicators and warnings now appear in the API Client list, on the API Client Detail page, and in confirmation dialogs. These visibility improvements help determine when to create a new, dedicated API client for an organization.
- **[Prevent Privilege Escalation for Read-Only Account Administrators](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_account_manager_read_only_account_admin_notifications.htm&release=260&type=5)**
To help monitor administrative access across your organizations, you now receive security notification emails when inviting a user who holds the Read-Only Account Administrator role in another organization. If assigning a new role provides the user with additional permissions, such as Account Administrator, the user is automatically uninvited from other organizations.
