# Enable the Licensing Events Feature

Control when licensing events occur by specifying peak business hours and heavy traffic periods to optimize licensing event timing.

### Required Editions

1. Create a permission set for the `ManageOnDemandProvisioning` user perm.
2. Decide which users set the blockout hours and dates for your org. Add those users to the `ManageOnDemandProvisioning` permission set, including yourself.
3. To make the feature available for users in the `ManageOnDemandProvisioning` perm set, go to the **Setup** | **Company Settings** | **Licensing Events** page and use the toggle to turn on **Licensing Events**.
