# Elevated Permissions for Non-Admin Users in Shield Extension

Let non-admin users access and manage certain features and functionalities that are typically restricted to administrators.

This article provides an overview of the elevated permissions required for certain features in Secure for non-admin users. These permissions are not included in the packaged Permission Sets as they are elevated and must be assigned by an Admin. Own recommends creating a Permission Set called "Secure Elevated Permissions" for easy management. A Permissions Set Group may be created for each user type as well.
