# Change History Retention Policies

History retention policies specify how long data is retained before being archived or deleted. There are ranges for each policy that you can change to fit your company's needs

1. Hover over the archive value and click **Edit**.
2. Select a value.
3. To save the new value, click **Update Policies**.
