# Shield Extension Tabs

Feature tabs provide a framework for maintaining data integrity and confidentiality within Salesforce. Understand which fields are displayed on the Shield Extension tabs.

## Platform Encryption Analyzer

Displays fields that apply to Shield Platform Encryption. The following fields are ignored:

- Fields that do not contain sensitive information.
- Application and platform configuration settings that do not contain sensitive information.
- Fields Salesforce does not provide encryption support for, such as:
    - Data Type: RecordTypeID
    - Data Type: AutoNumber
    - Data Type: Non-sensitive Lookups
    - Data Type: Non-sensitive Master-detail
    - Data Type: Hierarchy
    - Object: Custom Settings
    - Object: Custom Metadata
    - Object: Platform Events

## History Retention Policy Manager

- Displays fields that are supported by the Shield Field Audit Trail.
- Displays objects with fields that can be tracked from the Setup menu.
