# Getting Started with Accelerate for ServiceNow

Accelerate for ServiceNow allows you to populate data sets from a production/sub-prod instance into a sub-prod instance with matching metadata.

Seeding enables developers and other professionals to build templates that define a subset of related data, to extract from a source instance, and use those templates to quickly and repeatedly seed any sub-prod that you have already created with an identical data structure.

## Accelerate User Interface

Customers who have purchased Own’s Accelerate product and have also purchased Own’s Recover product:

- When the Seeding application displays a list of your available services, that list always includes all services except for services that are in deleted status.
- Access the Backup tab to view the list of your services.

Customers who have purchased Own’s Accelerate product but have not purchased Own’s Recover product:

- When the Seeding application displays a list of your available services, that list always includes all services except for services that are in deleted status.
- Access the Services tab to view the list of your services.

- Build and manage templates to define data sets and table graphs and share them with your organization
- Maintain table relationships
- Seed anonymized data using custom templates
- Simple and powerful filters allowing you to pick just the records or record types you want
- Fine-tune your data set using incremental seeds
- Quickly troubleshoot permissions or data issues using the seed summary report
- Seed from the live service (production instance) to get the latest data
- Seed new tables without updating existing ones, using either the Incremental or the Upsert seeding methods
