# Node Context Menu for a Salesforce Nodes Template

Each node in a Nodes Template has an available options context menu, regardless of where that node (object) is located in the template hierarchy (Parent, Root, or Child).

## Node Context Menu Options

The node context menu provides several options:

- Filter: Create or edit node filters. This option is only available for nodes added by a user.
- Preview records: Preview a sample of records (20 record maximum). This option is only available when you have permission to view the source data.
- Remove: Remove the node from the template. This option is only available when both of these conditions are true: The template is in Edit mode and the node was added by a user.
- Add children: Add child nodes to a parent node. This option is only available when the template is in Edit mode.
- Add parents: Add parent nodes to a child node. This option is only available when the template is in Edit mode.
- Edit children: Edit the child nodes of a parent node. This option is only available when both of these conditions are true: The template is in Edit mode and the parent node has at least one child node.
- Edit parents: Edit the parent nodes of a child node. This option is only available when both of these conditions are true: The template is in Edit mode and the child node has at least one parent node.
- Limit: Modify (increase or decrease) the number of records to be generated for the object node. This option is only available for Generate templates that are in Edit mode.

## Displaying the Context Menu

To display the node's context menu, hover over the node and click to open the menu. This will display the available options.
