Important Support and updates for Process Builder have ended as of December 31, 2025. This means that support won't be provided for any process and bugs in the Process Builder product won't be fixed. See [Workflow Rules & Process Builder End of Support](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=001096524&type=1&language=en_US).

After December 31, 2025, existing processes continue to run, and you can activate, deactivate, and edit them; however, we recommend using Flow Builder. To migrate existing processes, plan your [switch to Flow Builder](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.flow_migrate_to_flow_learning_map.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Flow Builder combines the capabilities of workflow rules and Process Builder in a single point-and-click tool, making it easier to create a triggered process. If you created triggered processes with workflow rules or Process Builder, use the Migrate to Flow tool to move them to Flow Builder. Start by migrating and testing in a sandbox environment before moving your new flows to production.") and use the [Migrate to Flow](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.flow_migrate_to_flow.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Use the Migrate to Flow tool to convert your Process Builder processes and workflow rules into Flow Builder, including scheduled actions. The tool also supports partial migration of processes for most actions.") tool. For new automations, create flows in [Flow Builder](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.flow.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Automation reduces repetitive work and helps your team complete tasks faster and more accurately. With Flow Builder, you can build simple or complex automations, forms, and guided experiences with no code. You can add forms to Salesforce pages and Experience sites, and launch flows using buttons, record triggers, or schedules.").

To manage a process, from Setup, enter Builder in the Quick Find box, then select **Process Builder**.

From the process management page, you can:

- [Create a process](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.process_create.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "To create a process, define its properties and which records it evaluates, and then add criteria nodes and actions.")
- Edit a process
- [Delete an inactive process](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.process_delete.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "If you no longer require a process version that you’ve defined, delete it.")
- See the [status](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.process_status.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Each process has a status that determines whether the process can be edited, activated, or deleted.") of your existing processes
- Sort your processes by name, description, object, last modified date, or status

When you open a process, you can:

- [Clone the process](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.process_clone.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "If you want to change an existing process, save a clone of that process. You can save the clone as either a new inactive process with its own version history, or as a new inactive version of the existing process.")
- [Activate or deactivate the process](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.process_activate.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Salesforce doesn't start using a new or revised process to evaluate records until you activate it.")
- [Edit the process properties](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.process_properties.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "The process properties uniquely identify your process.")

From the list of paused flow interviews in Setup, you can:

- [Monitor scheduled actions](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.process_monitor_instance.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "You can check which of your processes are waiting to execute scheduled actions.") that haven’t yet been executed
- [Delete groups of scheduled actions](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.process_delete_instance.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "If you no longer want to execute a process's scheduled actions, you can delete them from the list of paused flow interviews in Setup.") that you no longer must wait for
