# Configure IP Address Restrictions for FedRAMP

We recommend establishing trusted IP addresses or ranges to help ensure that only trusted sources are allowed to access the Own Government Cloud platform.

The Master Admin can establish IP restrictions.

1. To open the Security Page, click the Security icon.
2. In the Permitted IPs section, click **Add**. The Add Network option appears.
3. Enter the IP address to permit (in masked IPv4 format) and click **Add**. It appears in the IP Address table. Enter a subnet mask.
4. After you've added all the IP addresses you want to permit, turn on **Enable permitted IPs**. If your current IP address isn't one of the permitted IP addresses, the toggle is disabled.
5. The Enable Permitted IPs message appears. Click **Enable**.
6. The toggle turns blue with a checkmark to confirm that only permitted IP addresses can access the platform.
