Tip Setup with Agentforce can help you manage public group membership more efficiently. ## Manage Public Group Membership in a Group’s Access Summary

If you’re managing different members for a single public group, it’s most efficient to use the public group’s access summary.

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Public Groups, then and select **Public Groups**.
2. Select a public group, and then click **View Summary**.
3. In the All Public Group Members section, select the tab for the member type.
    - Users
    - Public Groups
    - Roles
    - Roles & Internal Subordinates
    - Roles, Internal & Portal Subordinates
    - Territories
4. To add members to the selected public group, click **Add Members**.
5. To remove the selected members from the public group, click **Remove Members**.

When you manage the membership of public groups, keep these considerations in mind.

- You can add or remove up to 100 members at a time.
- The search function works only for the Full Name field in the Users tab and for the Label field in the other tabs.
- You can add and delete multiple members from different tabs (100 members total).
- In the Channel Programs and Level Groups and Territories tabs, you can see only the features that you have access to.
- You can’t add members for the Channel Programs and Level Groups and Territories tabs, but you can delete members.

## Manage a User’s Public Group Membership in the User Access Summary

If you’re viewing and managing public group membership for an individual user, it’s most efficient to use the user’s access summary.

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Users, and then select **Users**.
2. Select a user, and then click **View Summary**.
3. Under the Groups and Queues section, go to the **Public Group Membership** tab. You can view the user’s assigned public groups.
4. To add the user to public groups, click **Add**.
5. To remove the user from public groups, select one or more public groups, and then click **Remove**.

To help you manage the public group membership more easily, you can search the list by Label and sort it by Label or API Name.
