# Update Sharing Settings for Drop In Appointments

To manage and attend drop-in appointments, update the organization-wide default sharing settings.

### Required Editions

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small edition"><colgroup><col></colgroup><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: Lightning Experience.</td></tr><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: <strong>Enterprise</strong> and <strong>Unlimited</strong> Editions</td></tr></tbody></table>

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Sharing Settings, and then select **Sharing Settings**.
2. Click **Edit** for Under Organization-Wide Defaults.
3. Select these permissions.
    
    | Object | Default Internal Access |
    | --- | --- |
    | Lead | Public Read/Write/Transfer |
    | Service Appointment | Private |
    | Service Resource | Public Read/Write |
    | Service Territory | Public Read/Write |
    | Shift | Private |
    | Waitlist | Public Read/Write |
    | Work Type | Public Read/Write |
    | Work Type Group | Public Read Only |
4. Save your changes.
