# Identify Missing Time Slots

While scheduling an appointment when you can’t find a specific time slot, you can look into the reason, such as the service resource is already booked or doesn’t have the required skills.

### Required Editions

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small edition"><colgroup><col></colgroup><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: Lightning Experience.</td></tr><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: <strong>Enterprise</strong> and <strong>Unlimited</strong> Editions</td></tr></tbody></table>

        <thead class="slds-text-title_caps ">

            <th scope="colgroup" class="slds-cell-wrap" colspan="2" style="text-align:center;vertical-align:top;" id="d33546e66">User Permissions
              Needed</th>
          </tr>
        </thead>
        <tbody>
          <tr class="">
            <td data-label="User Permissions Needed" class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;" headers="d33546e66 ">To run Troubleshooter:</td>

            <td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;" headers="d33546e66 ">System Admin profile</td>

          </tr>
        </tbody>
      </table>

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Troubleshooter, and then select **Troubleshooter** under Salesforce Scheduler.
2. Select the user profile.
    - To identify missing time slots within an org, click **Admin**.
    - To identify missing time slots for an Experience Cloud user, click **Experience Cloud User**, and then select the Experience Cloud user.
3. Click **Next**.
4. Click **Time Slot Access**.
5. Enter the getAppointmentSlots REST API request body in JSON format.

    You can either build an API request or retrieve the getAppointmentSlots REST API request body ( [Retrieve the getAppointmentSlots API Payload for Troubleshooting](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.ls_retrieve_getappointmentslots_api_payload.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "To identify the reasons for unavailable time slots while scheduling an appointment, retrieve the value in the params parameter from the getAppointmentSlots request API payload.")).
6. Select a time zone for the API response, and click **Submit**.

The API Response field shows the available and unavailable time slots along with the respective reasons. The time slots are for the next 2 days starting from the value specified in the startTime parameter in the API request. To view different dates, change the startTime parameter value.
