# Set Up Payments in Salesforce Scheduler

Streamline appointment bookings with the ability to pay for service appointments. Salesforce Scheduler uses Salesforce Payments to integrate payments into inbound and outbound appointment booking flows.

### Required Editions

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small edition"><colgroup><col></colgroup><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: Lightning Experience.</td></tr><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: <strong>Enterprise</strong> and <strong>Unlimited</strong> Editions</td></tr></tbody></table>

For combinations of work types and service territories, turn on payments and then configure rates for appointments. Depending on the type of appointment, payment flows vary in these ways:

- Outbound appointments: When booking appointments, Salesforce Scheduler generates a payment link. Your customer service representative can share this link with customers for payment. Salesforce Scheduler also provides email templates to send customers the payment link.
- Inbound appointments: When booking appointments, your customers can pay for them.
