# Set Up the Outbound New Appointment Flow

To give your users access to the provided Outbound New Appointment flow, add the Schedule Appointment action to lead, account, person account, and opportunity page layouts.

### Required Editions

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small edition"><colgroup><col></colgroup><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: Lightning Experience.</td></tr><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: <strong>Enterprise</strong> and <strong>Unlimited</strong> Editions</td></tr></tbody></table>

To use the Schedule Appointment action, a user needs the Run Flows permission.

1. In Setup, click **Object Manager**, and select **Account**, **Person Account**, **Lead**, or **Opportunity**.
2. Select **Page Layouts** and select the page layout that you want to add the Schedule Appointment action to.
3. Select **Mobile & Lightning Actions** in the palette.

If you see a link to **override the predefined actions** in the Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions section of the layout editor, click the link.
4. Drag the **Schedule Appointment** action to the top of the Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions section.

Note By default, the Schedule Appointment action exposes the provided Outbound New Appointment flow to users. If you want to distribute a customized version of Outbound New Appointment flow, create an action that uses the customized flow.
5. Save your changes.
6. Repeat these steps for each page layout.

Users can now click the **Schedule Appointment** button or the link in the dropdown list on account, person account, lead, or opportunity record pages to schedule appointments.
