Before you generate an appointment invitation URL, add the URL prefix in the InvitationURLPrefix flow variable. For more information, see [Create an Invitation URL Prefix for Community Sites](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.ls_create_invitation_url_prefix.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "To generate an appointment invitation URL, create a URL prefix first. Then enter the URL prefix in the InvitationURLPrefix flow variable of the Select Service Appointment Time flow screen component."). After you specify the prefix in the flow, activate the flow.

1. From the App Launcher, find and select the Salesforce Scheduler Setup app.
2. On the Service Resources tab, select a service resource.

    ![Note](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-platform-scheduler-264-0-0-production-enus/0530be2f-891f-4263-a0d7-96ddca56a717/images/icon_note.png)

Note The Service Resource tab shows only the records that the logged-in user has access to.
3. On the record page, click the quick action to generate an appointment invitation.

In the Select Appointment Invitee page, the Participant Service Resource field is auto-populated with the selected service resource.
4. Click **Next**.

    ![Note](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-platform-scheduler-264-0-0-production-enus/0530be2f-891f-4263-a0d7-96ddca56a717/images/icon_note.png)

Note If you want to create the invitation URL for another service resource, change the auto-populated resource to the required resource.
5. Select a work type group, and then click **Next**.
6. Select an appointment type or an engagement channel, such as **Phone**, **Video**, or **At a Branch**, and then click **Next**.

If you’ve enabled the Schedule Appointments with Engagement Channel setting, then Salesforce Scheduler replaces the Select Appointment Type page with the Select Engagement Channel Type page.
7. Select an appointment location:
    1. Enter an address, city, or ZIP code.
    2. Select the radius; the range is 5–100 miles or 10–200 kilometers.

The Maps and Location Services permission is enabled in Enterprise editions by default.

A list of all active service territories that are associated with the selected appointment topic, including the branch name, address, and operating hours appears.
8. Click **Next**.

When you select an appointment location, the service resource is available for appointments only in the selected service territory.
9. If necessary, select a start date and an end date for the appointment booking and an expiration date for the appointment invitation URL.

The Start date field defaults to the current date.
10. If necessary, to deactivate the URL, deselect **Active**, and then click **Next**.

The Active checkbox is selected by default.
11. For multi-resource scheduling, expand Manage Service Resources.

Note You can add multiple resources only when Multi-Resource Scheduling is enabled and Disable Multi-Resource Scheduling design attribute is set to False.
12. In the Add Service Resource field, search for and add other required or optional service resources for the appointment.

For example, a wealth manager and another resource (a real estate specialist) can share joint availability.
13. Review the available time slots based on the inputs that you provided.

The Availability Calendar shows only the time slots that are available between the shared start and end dates.
