# Create Holidays in Salesforce Scheduler

Create holidays for a day or for specific hours of a day. For example, create a holiday called Independence day for July 4 or a holiday called Christmas Eve between 2 PM and 11 PM for December 25.

### Required Editions

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Holidays, and then select **Holidays**.
2. Click **New**.
3. If you want to clone an elapsed holiday, click **Clone** next to the name of the elapsed holiday.
4. Type the holiday name, description, and date.
5. Perform an action:
    
    - If the holiday is for the whole day, select **All Day**.
    - If the holiday is for specific hours, deselect **All Day**, and then enter the start and end time for the holiday.
6. Deselect **Recurring Holiday**.
    
    Salesforce Scheduler doesn’t support recurring holidays.
7. Save your changes.
