# Assign Work Type Groups to Work Types in Salesforce Scheduler

Map each work type group (appointment topic) to a work type (appointment template).

### Required Editions

1. From the Related tab on a work type group record page, click **New** on the Work Type Group Members related list.
2. Select a work type.

    Note Ensure that the work type you select and other work types associated with the work type group aren’t linked with the same service territory.
3. Save your changes.
