# Send WhatsApp Message Marketing Flow Element

The Send WhatsApp Message action element sends a WhatsApp message from your Salesforce CMS to an audience segment. You can configure the action to track clicks and opens, send messages to your opt-in list, and identify which clicks and opens are real.

### Required Editions

## Usage

The Send WhatsApp Message action element is available in automation event-triggered flows, broadcast flows, on-demand flows, and segment-triggered flows.

The WhatsApp message is sent based on the schedule configured in the Start element. If multiple Send WhatsApp Message elements are separated by Wait elements, the flow doesn’t send the WhatsApp message until the Wait conditions are met.

## Set Input Values

Select the segment from the campaign record or from the flow’s Start element. You can customize the contents of the WhatsApp message from the campaign record.
