# View Flow Dependencies in the Automation App

Flow versions can call other flows from a Subflow element, and they can call flows and flow approval processes from an Action element. Flow approval process versions and orchestration versions rely on flows to run steps and evaluate complex conditions. To understand the relationships between a flow and the automations that it calls and that call it, view the Usage tab of the Flow Version page or the Flow page in the Automation app.

The Automation app shows the automations that a flow version uses and the automation versions that use a flow. The Automation app uses the default Flow Version and Flow pages to show this information. If you customized either page, add the Automation Usage component and save the updated page as your org default.
