# Error: Unable to Reauthenticate Bitbucket After Credential Changes

Your Bitbucket connection with Lifecycle Center works, but when your team revokes tokens or modifies access configurations, the authentication fails. Lifecycle Center prompts you to reauthenticate and the Home page shows that you're logged out.

To reconnect, you must reauthenticate. However, Lifecycle Center doesn't have a UI option to update or reauthenticate an existing Bitbucket connection.

**Cause**

Lifecycle Center stores Bitbucket authentication credentials in Named Credentials and External Credentials. When these credentials become invalid, there's no direct way to reauthenticate through the Lifecycle Center UI.

**Action**

Delete the existing credentials and reauthenticate to establish a new connection.

1. From **Setup**, enter Named Credentials in the Quick Find box, then select **Named Credentials**.
2. Find the `ALMDevopsBitbucket` named credential.
3. From the dropdown menu next to the credential, select **Delete**, and confirm the action.
4. Switch to the **External Credentials** tab.
5. Find the `ALMDevopsBitbucket` external credential.
6. From the dropdown menu next to the credential, select **Delete**, and confirm the action.
7. Return to Lifecycle Center and reauthenticate your Bitbucket connection.

You can set up the Bitbucket connection with your updated credentials. See [Set Up Bitbucket as Your Source Control](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.devops_center_setup_bitbucket_as_source_control.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Configure your Bitbucket Cloud repository to store project files and manage team access. Each Lifecycle Center pipeline requires its own Bitbucket Cloud repository as the single source of truth.").

Your Bitbucket connection is reestablished with the new credentials.
