Before you reconnect, confirm that Lifecycle Center is accessible from the App Launcher and that your admin migrated your team's projects. See [Access Lifecycle Center](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.devops_center_enable_for_users.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Lifecycle Center is enabled by default in your Salesforce org, so you don't have to turn it on. You can open it directly from the App Launcher. The first time you open it, accept the DX Tools terms and conditions.") and [Migrate to Next Generation Lifecycle Center](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.devops_center_migrate_managed_package.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Move selected DevOps Center (Managed Package) projects to Lifecycle Center.").

Your team migrates DevOps Center (Managed Package) projects to Lifecycle Center with the migration tool. See [Migrate to Lifecycle Center](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.devops_center_migrate_managed_package.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Move selected DevOps Center (Managed Package) projects to Lifecycle Center."). After migration, DX Inspector in your development environment can still point to the managed package. Remove that connection and reconnect to Lifecycle Center so that your work items and commits go to the migrated project.

1. Log in to your sandbox, scratch org, or Developer Edition org.
2. Click ![DX Inspector icon](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-platform-devops_center-264-0-0-production-enus/166010c3-4c34-4087-92ad-aea917baf524/devops_center/images/dx_inspector_icon.png) on DX Inspector to open the DX Inspector panel.
3. From the DX Inspector panel, open the **Change Management** tab.
4. Click the down arrow icon and select **Remove Lifecycle Center Connection**.

![Option in the Change Management page to remove Lifecycle Center connection.](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-platform-devops_center-264-0-0-production-enus/166010c3-4c34-4087-92ad-aea917baf524/devops_center/images/next_gen_switch_to_core.png)
5. From the banner, click **Sign in to Lifecycle Center**.
6. In the window, enter your Lifecycle Center credentials.

DX Inspector connects to Lifecycle Center. Your commits and work items now go to the migrated project.
