# Enable Lifecycle Center Governance

Enable Lifecycle Center Governance to unlock policy controls in your org and start enforcing policies across coding agents.

### Required Editions

Important Turn on and configure Governance from your hub org. Sandbox orgs can connect to the production hub org to import governance policies.

1. From the App Launcher, find and select **Lifecycle Center**.
2. On the Lifecycle Center home page, click **Manage Features**.
3. Find **Governance** in the list, and turn it on.

Policies are now available in the **Governance** tab.

When you first activate Governance, all policies are active and all rules are enabled by default. You can review and manage them in the **Policies** tab.

Note If the **Governance** tab isn't visible by default in existing orgs, go to **Setup**, search for **Tabs**, find the **Governance** tab, and set its visibility to **Default On**.
