AI Skills are packaged instruction sets that give AI coding clients specialized knowledge for building on the Salesforce platform. Skills are available from the [forcedotcom/sf-skills repository](https://github.com/forcedotcom/sf-skills) in GitHub. See [AI Skills](https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/platform/salesforce-skills-plugins/guide/overview.html) in the Salesforce Development Plugin Guide for more information.

[`platform-sandbox-configure`](https://github.com/forcedotcom/sf-skills/blob/main/skills/platform-sandbox-configure)

Manage your Salesforce sandboxes with these tasks:

- List all sandboxes.
- Get the details for a specific sandbox by name or ID.
- Create a new sandbox.
- Refresh an existing sandbox with the latest production metadata and data.
- After a copy completes, activate a sandbox.
- Discard a completed refresh.
- Verify if the activation or deletion of a sandbox is complete.
- Check how many licenses are available or used by license type.

Note This skill doesn’t support cloning a sandbox.

Sample prompts:

- “Show me all of my sandboxes.”
- “What's the status of ExampleSandbox?”
- “Activate sandbox 07E...”
- “Discard the refresh on ExampleSandbox.”
- “Delete sandbox 07E...”

[`automation-sandbox-post-copy-config-generate`](https://github.com/forcedotcom/sf-skills/tree/main/skills/automation-sandbox-post-copy-config-generate)

Generate a sandbox configuration JSON file from a document that describes your organization’s settings for a newly created or refreshed sandbox. The settings in scope are the outbound messages to external endpoints and the remote site settings. The skill supports these file formats for your organization’s configuration document:

- .pdf
- .xlsx
- .csv
- .json
- .docx
- .md
- .txt
- Images, such as a screenshot of an endpoint table.

With the JSON file that this skill generates, you can apply the settings to a sandbox using the automation-sandbox-post-copy-configure skill.

Sample prompts:

- “The refresh of ExampleSandbox is complete. Can you create its post-refresh configuration file from SandboxSettings.csv?”
- “Generate the post-copy configuration file for ExampleSandbox using SandboxSettings.png as a reference.”

[`automation-sandbox-post-copy-configure`](https://github.com/forcedotcom/sf-skills/tree/main/skills/automation-sandbox-post-copy-configure)

Apply the configuration JSON file that was created with automation-sandbox-post-copy-config-generate to a newly created or refreshed sandbox.

Sample prompts:

- “Apply post-copy-config.json to ExampleSandbox.”
- “Configure the refreshed sandbox 07E… with post-copy-config.json.”
