# Recall Approval Submission Action

Use this action to recall an ongoing approval submission.

## Special Access Rules

- To use this action, you need the Approval Admin user permission.
- To run this action, you need to be a submitter of this approval submission.

To recall an approval submission, go to Flow Builder, add an Action element to your flow. In the New Action field, enter Recall and select **Recall Approval Submission**. This action is supported in screen flows, autolaunched flows, and record-triggered flows.

## Set Input Values

 
| Field | Description |
| --- | --- |
| **Approval Submission ID** | This is a required field. ID of the approval submission to be recalled. |
| **Comments** | This is an optional field. Comments entered by the approval admin or approval submitter about why they recalled the approval submission. |

## Usage

- This action requires API version 62.0 or a later version in the flow.
- You can only recall an approval submission if it's status is In Progress or Suspended.
