# Add a Workday Backup Service

Secure your Workday data by adding a backup service. A Workday backup service protects data against loss and corruption and helps you meet data protection compliance regulations.

When accessing your account for the first time, you are prompted to add a backup service.

1. Select New Service... .
2. Select the Workday tile.
3. Enter the required information to allow Own to connect to Workday.
4. Select Report as a Service (RAAS) and provide the required information.
5. Click + Add and select the custom reports to be included with the new service.
6. Check each custom report for a prompt. For each prompt, provide the requested information. When finished, select Add Service to complete the process.
    
    The Backup dashboard is displayed and the new service creation process begins. Once completed, the new service is ready for use.
