# Synthetic Backup for Dynamics

When planning synthetic backups for Dynamics, review the tables that are excluded.

Synthetic backup applies to all tables in Dataverse that are in the backup scope and have the “Track Changes” option enabled. Click [here](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/enable-change-tracking-control-data-synchronization) to find out how to enable Track Changes in Dataverse.

The following tables are not currently included in the synthetic backup and will be backed up daily via a full backup:

- activitymimeattachments
- datalakefolderpermissions
- datalakefolders
- goals
- msdyn\_recurringsalesactions
- msdynmkt\_eventmetadataset
- msdynmkt\_marketingformsubmissions
- publishers
- sitemaps
