# How to Search within Dynamics Backups

Find is an advanced full-text search capability available in all of your Dynamics backup snapshots. Find searches attachments and all fields on all standard and custom tables, fields, and more.

Only PDF, DOC, JSON, and TXT files are supported for attachment content search. Any records that match the search criteria are subsequently displayed. If different versions of the same record appear across multiple backup snapshots, you can view and export the different versions to see the changes.

## Initiating a Find

Initiate a Find from either:

- The Find tab.

Or

- The main services screen:

    - In the Cards View
    - In the List View

    In the Cards View

On the selected card go to the top right hand corner and select the three dots. Select the Find option.

    In the List View

On the selected row go to the right hand side and select the three dots. Select the Find option.
