# Reauthenticate Salesforce Services in Backup & Recover for Salesforce

If you get a message about an inactive Authenticated User, a revoked token or an authentication error, you can restore access and functionality by reauthenticating the Salesforce Authenticated User.

1. Select the backup service that encountered an error.
2. Go to the **Dashboard** tab.
3. Click **Re-Authenticate Service**.

You are prompted to authenticate with Salesforce, authorizing Own to access your org using OAuth.

After authentication, a success message appears, and the service is re-authenticated.
