# Build Flows with AI

Describe the automation that you want, and let AI draft a flow for you. Select the tool that fits where you work and what you want to do.

You can use AI to build flows from a plain-English description instead of adding each element yourself. Two options are available. One works in Flow Builder in your org, and the other works in Visual Studio Code (VS Code).

## Select a Tool

This table compares what each tool does.

| What You Want to Do | Agentforce in Salesforce | Flow Author (Beta) in VS Code |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Draft a new flow from a description | Supported | Supported |
| Summarize an existing flow | Supported | Not supported |
| Evolve an existing flow | Supported | Not supported |

Use Agentforce in Salesforce if you build flows in Flow Builder and want to draft, summarize, or evolve flows. Use Flow Author if you work in VS Code and want to draft a new flow from a description.

- **[Drafting Flows with Agentforce (Beta)](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.flow_build_let_einstein_help_you_build_flows.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Save time by describing what you want to automate and letting Agentforce draft a flow and get you started with your automation.
- **[Use Flow Author (Beta) to Build Flows in Visual Studio Code](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.automate_flow_build_set_up_flow_author.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Build flows using plain English from Visual Studio Code. Install the Flow Author (beta) extension in VS Code, connect it to your org, and describe the flow you want to build.
