# Text Template Flow Approval Processes Resource

Store text that can be changed and used throughout the flow approval process. To format the text, use HTML tags.

### Required Editions

| Field | Description |
| --- | --- |
| **API Name** | Automatically populated if empty when you fill out the **Label** field and press TAB. The requirement for uniqueness applies only to elements and resources within the current flow approval process. Two items can have the same API name, provided they're used in different flow approval processes.An API name can include underscores and alphanumeric characters without spaces. It must begin with a letter and can't end with an underscore. It also can't have two consecutive underscores. |

| **Text Template** | The text for the template. To reference information from other resources, use merge fields. |
| **Rich Text** | Control the text font, size, color, and alignment. Add HTML links, bullet points, or numbered lists. Rich text is on by default. You can change to rich text from the drop down menu. |
| **Plain Text** | Send email core actions use plain text. Some custom actions from AppExchange or built by Salesforce developers also expect plain text. You can change to plain text from the drop down menu. |
