To get started assigning tasks to teams, create a team of users.

Tip Set up a team email address so task notifications go to the team's shared inbox instead of each individual member. This helps teams that monitor a shared inbox stay aligned without every member receiving separate notifications.

1. Open the teams list.
    - In the navigation sidebar, click **People & Teams**, and then click the **Teams** tab.
    - From the Home page, click **Admin**, and then click the **Teams** tab.
2. Click **\+ Add team**.
3. Enter the team name.
4. Select **Internal** or **External** for the type.
5. Add team admins by entering their email addresses or selecting from existing users.
6. Add team members by entering their email addresses or selecting from existing users.
7. Click **Add team**.

You've created the team and can now use it for task assignments.
