User management in Agentforce Operations controls who can access your workspace and what they can do. Add users individually, in bulk, or through task assignments. Each user receives a role that determines their permissions.

## Roles and Access Control

Roles define what users can see and do in Agentforce Operations. System roles include Admin, People Admin, Integration Admin, and Data Source Admin. You can also create custom roles with specific permissions tailored to your organization's needs. Learn more in [User Roles and Access Levels in Agentforce Operations](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.automate_afsc_roles.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Assign specific roles to users that define what they can do in Agentforce Operations. You can use the system roles, or create custom roles. Grant granular access levels to blueprints and workflows.").

## Adding Users

Add users to your workspace in several ways. Invite them individually through the Admin page, upload a CSV file to add multiple users at a time, or add them directly from a task assignment. When you add a user, you assign them a role and specify whether they're an internal employee or external partner. Learn more in [Add Users to Agentforce Operations](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.automate_afsc_adding_users.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Add new users to Agentforce Operations by assigning them tasks, adding them directly, or adding multiple users in bulk.") and [Add and Update Multiple Users in Bulk in Agentforce Operations](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.automate_afsc_bulk_create_update_multiple_users.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Upload a CSV file to invite users to the workspace, add roles to existing users, or update their names. A CSV file can include up to 10,000 rows, including the header row. You can add roles to users. You can't remove or create roles by uploading a CSV file.").

## Managing User Data and Access

After users join your workspace, you can view their profiles, update their roles, deactivate accounts, and manage their data. Learn more in [View, Edit, and Deactivate Users in Agentforce Operations](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.automate_afsc_managing_user_data.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "View, modify, and deactivate user accounts in Agentforce Operations.").

## Collaborating with External Partners

Control how external partners collaborate with your team. External partners have limited access to your workspace and can only see workflows and tasks they're assigned to or CC'd on. You can set permissions that determine what external partners can view and do. Learn more in [Collaborating with External Partners in Agentforce Operations](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.automate_afsc_collaborating_with_external_partners.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Invite suppliers, vendors, and other external partners to participate in your workflows in Agentforce Operations. External users can complete tasks through email, forms, or the workspace, with visibility restrictions that protect workspace data.").
