# Complete a Task in Agentforce Operations

Open an assigned task and submit your work directly in Agentforce Operations.

When you're assigned to a task, you receive an email notification. If you're an internal user, you can complete the task directly in the Agentforce Operations workspace. You can also complete tasks by replying to the task email. If you're logged in to Agentforce Operations, clicking a button in the email takes you directly to the task in the workspace instead of a web form.").

1. In the navigation sidebar, click **Tasks**.
2. Click the task that you want to complete.
3. Review the task description and any shared information or attached documents.
4. Optionally, to send a message or attach documents, use the task activity pane.
    
    Messages and attachments are visible to all assignees and CC'd users on the task.
5. Fill in any requested fields or forms.
6. Complete the task.
    
    - For a standard task, click **Complete**.
    - For an approval task, click **Approve** or **Reject**. If you reject, enter comments if required.
    
    The task is marked complete and the workflow triggers the next task.

To reopen a completed task, click **Restart**.
